Personality: Sigurd has a very haughty mentality. He's extremely judgemental of others. Of all of his brothers he is the only one that seems to resent their mother for her neglect and Ivar for being psychotic but also taking up all of their mother's time and affection. He is extremely perceptive of what goes on around him, even from a very young age. He sees Habard for what he is, that he is distracting their mother and he sees his mother's ineptitude. He knows that there is something deeply wrong with Ivar. As he gets older, he seems to lack a certain level of self-preservation and the ability to keep his mouth shut. He antagonizes Ivar, despite knowing about Ivar's explosive temper. He regularly insults him for his disability and eventually his perceived impotence. This trait is something that he inherited from his mother but without her wisdom of when not to provoke or to say things as he sees them.

Sigurd is not very forgiving or understanding. He never forgives Aslaug for her failure as a mother, he never forgives Ragnar for abandoning them even once his father comes back and he never forgives Ivar for, in a way, taking his mother away from him. Sigurd had a very hard time as a child. He was the classic middle child, his older brothers were very close and his little brother, Ivar, was angry, violent and disabled -- therefore overprotected by Aslaug. Often, he was left alone to play or with his niece, Siggy until the day she turned up dead and no one seemed to care but him.

Later on, Sigurd shows very little respect or care for other's well-being. A slave girl that all of the brothers shared had divulged a secret about Ivar to him and was terrified of Ivar finding out that she had told. Of course, Sigurd could not keep his mouth shut about this and went straight to his older brothers to tell them of Ivar's impotency, potentially endangering the slave's life. This information is also what ultimately got Sigurd killed as he used Ivar's impotency as a way to insult him publicly as they argued.

Abilities/Skills: Sigurd is a Viking and has been trained in combat from a very young age. He's not as good as his brothers but he's capable with swords, archery and axes.
